Fallout 4 is receiving a lot of love lately, largely due to the recent popularity of the Amazon Studios live-action series, not to mention that it’s a fantastic game too.
Fallout 4 was released in 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One but it’s also backwards compatible with modern consoles and in a week, it’s about to receive its long-awaited free new-gen upgrade on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Check out the Fallout 4 trailer below!
“Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, welcome you to the world of Fallout 4 – their most ambitious game ever, and the next generation of open-world gaming,” reads the description of the game. “As the sole survivor of Vault 111, you enter a world destroyed by nuclear war.”

The aforementioned free new-gen update will increase the resolution of Fallout 4 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S with a targeted 60 frames per second. However, while the PC version of Fallout 4 will also get some added loving from Bethesda, PC games come with the added benefit of the modding community.
Sure, the console version of Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim do have mod support to an extent but nothing to the level of PC, and that’s where today's topic of discussion comes into play.
As reported by PCGamesN, the YouTube channel MxBenchmarkPC demonstrated Fallout 4 unleashing its full potential boasting a huge graphics upgrade thanks to DLSS 3.7 mod support at a glorious 1440p. Details on how to install the mods can be found in the description section of the YouTube video and best of all, the mods are free to download.

The gameplay video in question not only has Fallout 4 looking super-smoother but the visuals are even more crisp than ever thanks to the DLSS anti-aliasing powered by Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 hardware and a Core i7 10700f, running on ultra settings. The video compares various graphics and performance settings such as the standard TAA to DLAA and DLSS 3.7, and it really is a joy to behold.
Fallout 4 is out now and is available at no extra cost for those who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass as well as PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.
