If you’re patiently waiting for updates on The Elder Scrolls VI, fans would highly recommend playing this incredible remake of The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall.
The Elder Scrolls VI may officially be in full development, but that doesn’t mean it’s coming out anytime soon. It doesn’t help that Bethesda exec Todd Howard keeps hyping up the game, saying it’ll be one of the best fantasy-RPGs ever made, and will keep gamers occupied for at least a decade.
Take a look at the teaser trailer for The Elder Scrolls VI below.
For the time being all we can do is wait, so instead of moping about what we can’t play, let’s cast our eyes on something we can, a fantastic remake of the second game in the Elder Scrolls series, Daggerfall.

Titled Daggerfall Unity, the remake lovingly updates the old RPG with slightly more up-to-date graphics. We’re not talking new-gen console graphical fidelity, but there’s certainly an improvement to be seen.
The remake comes highly recommended by fans like 2000sCool on Reddit, who highlighted the game saying they very rarely “tell people they need to go and play a particular game” but Daggerfall Unity is just too good to not share.
They went on to say it “straight up revives the game and gives it new life with some much needed quality-of-life improvements” and has done a superb job of keeping the game true to itself whilst “updating it for a modern audience.” They finalised their thoughts by saying it’s now their “favourite Elder Scrolls game even surpassing Morrowind and Oblivion.”
It’s well-worth a look, especially for retro-gaming fans who are interested in seeing the origins of one of the biggest RPG series on the planet, with some modern additions and a fresh coat of paint of course.
