We love seeing remasters of older games, there’s something wonderful about seeing older games given a bit of love and being spruced up. One series recently benefitting a great deal from these remaster projects is Assassin’s Creed.
The description on this Assassin’s Creed III remaster is rather blunt and to the point saying, “The Ubisoft remaster of AC3 is sh*t.” I can’t vouch for that summation, but it’s a hell of an opening to your mod project. The description continues by expanding the point, “It breaks performance and visuals so it's better playing the original game with Reshade. The reshade not only increases contrast, also improves shadows and textures, making it look like a next-gen game.”
Assassin's Creed III has a lot of fans for its expansion into America.
Well, consider us told. To be fair, taking a look through the images on the mod page we can see what they mean. Reshading the game has made it look lovely and definitely gives it more of a visual flair compared to the original release. It’s worth noting, that this is a pretty new mod, so it doesn’t have many endorsements on Nexus Mods, but it seems to do the job so props to creator JuuanAguiilera.

Assassin’s Creed III took players through the American revolution in 1775 as Connor, a native American assassin. You would be roaming the streets at night in one moment, and the next would take you to the chaotic battlefields of the war. It was a very different direction for the franchise which had, until this point, kept the action to smaller cities and towns.
While the third instalment often gets a bad rap, it has held up surprisingly well over the years and Connor proved himself to be one of the better assassins from the earlier games.
Why not play it again with this mod installed? The reshade project also works on Black Flag and Rogue, so you can expand your revisits.
