The Nintendo Switch 2 console may have been revealed early by accident at a recent convention.
We all know that the Nintendo Switch 2 is on the way. After all, Nintendo has already confirmed its arrival and that it will be backwards compatible with current-gen titles.

We’ve even seen leaked images of what the new Joy-Con controllers might look like and some images of the console. However, as reported by Nintendo Life (via VGC), new images of the rumoured console have surfaced at the annual technology trade show, CES 2025.
In tweets posted by the Genki Twitter account, a Japanese accessory manufacturer, we see a protective case for what could be the next Nintendo Switch console but we can also see 3D renders of what appears to be the new Joy-Con controllers.

What’s more, those 3D-rendered images have now been uploaded to the Genki website. While the 3D rendered images do not mention the Switch 2 by name it does say on the website “The Next Evolution in Gaming is Coming…We’re working on something extraordinary for the next handheld.”

That being said, the URL for the 3D-rendered images does have “NS2 accessories”, so make of that what you will.
Of course, we should take this information with a pinch of salt until Nintendo confirms otherwise but it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Genki has inside information, hence the early reveal of its Switch 2 accessories.
When we get official confirmation from Nintendo related to when the Switch successor will arrive, we’ll be sure to
