With rumours that the Nintendo Switch 2 is just months away from being officially announced, talk has turned to which titles we may get to see on the handheld and one major RPG may take the spotlight.
It has been seven years since the Nintendo Switch handheld console arrived on the scene and it has been the source of hours of enjoyment since. Showcasing titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the Nintendo unit has been a constant companion for fans.

According to Twitter user MbKKssTBhz5, Atlus has plans to bring the long-awaited Persona 6 title to the Nintendo Switch 2 when it launches. This news comes after a recent Direct Xbox podcast discussed when the next entry in the Persona series would be arriving
MbKKssTBhz5 commented on a clip of the podcast saying: “It is correct information. And multiple platforms too.” When a fellow user asked “Does that include the Switch 2?” they simply replied with a “yes”.
Despite Atlus being yet to officially announce Persona 6, it has been almost seven-years since we saw the last entry, Persona 5. However, according to the fairly reliable SEGA leaker Head on the Block, the RPG is around 95% complete and will launch some time in 2025.
If this is true, it would line up perfectly with the rumoured release of the Nintendo Switch 2 and would make an epic first game for the handheld console. However, with neither the Nintendo Switch 2 or Persona 6 being officially announced, it is worth taking these reports with a pinch of salt.
