Harry Potter and Hogwarts Legacy fans are being teased with a special collaboration potentially on the way.
It’s safe to say the majority of hype around Hogwarts Legacy has dissipated, with a sequel presumably on the way and a spin-off Quidditch game set to release later this year, though fans aren’t convinced it’ll be that good.

However a Quidditch game is apparently not the only new Harry Potter-themed content we’re getting this year.

According to data-miners on the arena fighter and Super Smash Bros clone MultiVersus, the wizarding world of Harry Potter is set to make an appearance.
MultiVersus smashes together a variety of IPs owned by Warner Bros, including the Looney Tunes, DC characters like Batman, and even the Iron Giant just to name a few.
After a short hiatus the game is back to the forefront and receiving regular updates, many of which add new characters and stages for fans to unlock like The Joker, Agent Smith from The Matrix and Jason from Friday The 13th.
The recent data-mine findings have revealed Harry Potter and Barbie content appearing somewhere down the pipeline.

Whether this is restricted to just new stages, or if we'll get actual characters from those properties is unknown at the time of writing, though I think we’d all be happy to see Ken from Barbie become a playable fighter, his job being to fight of course.
Given the overwhelming success of Hogwarts Legacy, and the general love for the Harry Potter IP as a whole despite its affiliation to J.K Rowling, it would be a no-brainer for Warner Bros to add content from the wizard world to its game.
The free-to-play MultiVersus game is currently amidst its second season, which recently added Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice to the roster.
