Hogwarts Legacy and Dragon Age actor Jonathan Rees, better known as Greg Ellis, has been arrested for allegedly threatening to release inappropriate photos of a former partner.
News broke yesterday surrounding the accusations, which saw Ellis threaten to send the photos to his partner’s friends and family. It’s said other charges were made as well.
Ellis has starred in a number of video game roles, such as Hogwarts Legacy
In Hogwarts Legacy Ellis played multiple characters, most notably the ghost Fastidio, and he’s also credited for the role of Cullen Rutherford in Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2 and Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Cullen Rutherford is a highly popular character amongst fans of the series for being a top romance option across the various titles.
Reports on the arrest, from WBNG say details came from the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office, as Ellis apparently turned themselves in for the offence.
The former partner has gone unnamed, but it’s believed Ellis was in a relationship with her between 2016 to 2022.
This isn’t the first time the actor has been under scrutiny, as it’s believed bridges were burned with BioWare long ago, and the actor apparently went on a long, offensive rant on cancel culture in the voice of Cullen Rutherford.

It’s believed Ellis will appear in court later this year for the case, upon which a decision on what happens next will be made.
That said it’s safe to say they won’t be starring in any BioWare games again, and with Hogwarts Legacy 2 confirmed to be coming sometime in the future it doesn’t seem like there will be any roles there either.
