Morons like that aside, the majority of fans are content with scouring the internet for now, keeping eagle eyes open for any credible leaks about the game, and there’s certainly been a few in recent months.
A spark of hope was dropped from Rockstar Games’ publisher Take-Two Interactive, which teased a 2025 release date for the highly-anticipated title, which has possibly been corroborated by the infamous GTA insider Tez2.
According to new information from Tez2, Rockstar is gearing up for an official reveal for Grand Theft Auto VI very soon, possibly in the form of a small teaser to wet player’s appetites for a bigger showcase later down the line.
Tez2 said: “Everything seems to line up for a high likelihood of Rockstar announcing VI soon. Probably in the coming months … I could see a new hunt or a collectable or a random event on (GTA Online) Cayo Perico to tease VI. It would make the most sense.”

Rockstar is well-known for burying teases and secrets in video games, and with GTA Online approaching its 10th anniversary this October, the developer surely has something up its sleeve. Whether this is linked to Grand Theft Auto VI remains to be seen but it’s definitely not out of the question.
GTA VI currently has no concrete release date, but when it does release it’ll be on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
