A new GTA VI trailer is greatly upsetting fans, and is further proof that being able to use AI doesn’t mean you always should.

By all means check out the AI trailer for yourself, but you'll want to watch the official GTA VI one afterwards
Shared on Reddit, the “realistic” trailer has ignited a fierce debate amongst fans regarding the use of AI in the video games industry.
Then you have the gamers who simply think it’s absolutely, shockingly awful.

Although some are saying AI is the future of gaming, others are rallying against its use by criticising its “over saturated” visuals.
“Looks like it just over saturated everything and did its typical AI make faces look all f**king strange thing,” said Minmaxed2theMax, “The continuity is off, the sun and sky look like sh*t. I can go on.”
Although they didn’t, other fans took up the mantle for them.
“She [Lucia] became like five different white ladies in this trailer. I don’t think it’s very good. AI enhancing is coming but it’s definitely not there yet,” argued Isabela_Grace.

Redditor FlasKamel commented, “It’s still wild jfc… this would’ve been unbelievable just a few years ago.”
We can’t argue with that, however, we’re still not sold on this trailer.
There’s something uncomfortably wrong about it – if you watch it for yourselves we think you’ll likely agree.
Whether you love it or hate it, this AI trailer demonstrates how highly anticipated the new GTA title is.

When the game is released, it will likely go down in history as one of the biggest “gaming days off” as fans call in sick to finally play this enigmatic experience.
Until then, and until Rockstar drops that second trailer, we’ll have to come to terms with more possible AI creations appearing online.
