While it’s no surprise that January feels like the month that never ends, what is a surprise is the Cyberpunk 2077 release that’s got the fandom hyped up.
Given the fact that CD Projekt Red said it wasn’t adding more to the game since the team’s moved over to The Witcher 4, you may be wondering what the surprise is. Obviously, you’re not a true fan if you don’t already know, but we don’t hold that against you.
We wish we could relive our first time with Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
This year is when fans can finally play the awesome soundtrack of Cyberpunk 2077’s radio stations on vinyl, with the first two volumes currently available for pre-order. Arguably, video game soundtracks can make or break a game, such is the power it wields in creating the ambience of the narrative, which is why, when a soundtrack goes hard, we crave multiple ways to listen to it.

I won’t make some silly joke about breaking out your parents’ record players because, let’s face it, vinyl is back. No matter which generation you hail from, old school formats are fast becoming the main way to enjoy music, with cassettes and CDs also popping up.
As an avid vinyl collector, being able to own such a tangible way to experience a beloved franchise’s music is… well, music to my ears. However, if you’re not interested in listening to the soundtrack but still want to purchase the vinyl because you’re a dedicated collector, they’d look fabulous framed on your wall.
Without a shadow of a doubt, owning a piece of Cyberpunk 2077’s history in your hands is undeniably exciting, even more so after the rocky start it had. Remember those days? We barely do, thanks to how far it’s come.
You can pre-order the first two volumes of those dystopian sci-fi classics on Amazon for $29.89 each, as well as directly from the CD Projekt Red online store. However, while pre-orders are open, the vinyls won’t ship until 26 April.
