Are you a Call of Duty fan? And do you like in-game rewards? Of course you do! If you, like every other CoD player, are waiting for Modern Warfare 3’s release, you can prepare yourself with some free downloads while you wait.
This isn’t just a case of being given a handful of extras, we’re talking a full on live event that will allow users to, hopefully, see some of the finer gameplay elements of the upcoming release. Something which, as of right now, we’ve yet to see.

However, even if the event doesn’t give us those types of goods, at least those who participate in this Activision event will get in-game rewards to mark the occasion. There’s quite the list of items up for grabs, including the new AC M13C gun, a new calling card, weapon charm, battle pass tier skip, and the Serpent Slayer vehicle skin. The eagle eyed among you will notice that the rewards you receive will work in both Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Warzone. This will surely overjoy fans who’ve been grappling with concerns over how content will carry over; typically, CoD is annualised, much to the dismay of many. But with the launch of Modern Warfare 3, this looks set to change.
With the carry-over confirmed, there are certain items that won’t carry over, so all players should be mindful of this as they plough ahead into the next warzone. Still, later down the line is a long way off, and besides, the rewards you’re getting are for both so there’s no need to panic.

The oh so originally named Modern Warfare 3 event will begin on 17 August at 6:30PM BST which is 10:30AM PST. As for the game itself, Modern Warfare 3 will launch on 10 November on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
