Stray nuzzled its way into PlayStation players hearts in 2022, and now this truly incredible PS exclusive is (finally) available on Xbox.
When it comes to arguing which is better – Xbox or PlayStation – exclusives tend to swing the deal for most people. But nowadays, and after an arduous wait, those exclusives tend to get ports for other consoles.
Enjoy cute kitties reacting to Stray!
Take Baldur’s Gate 3 as a prime example of this. PC players are already enjoying the humongous size of the game, while PlayStation gamers wait patiently for the 6 September to come around.

When they’re not being trolled by PS that an earlier release date is coming… But then there’s the Xbox players, the ones left behind, not knowing when the game will come to their consoles, only that it eventually will.
In short, these things take time. However, for Stray fans who’ve watched from afar, waiting to guide the most adorable ginger cat across a neon decorated cybercity, they don’t have to wait any longer. They've served their time.
On the off chance you’ve not heard of Stray, or aren’t sure what the game is about beyond it involving a cat, allow us to give a little background information:
Stray follows the trials and tribulations of a ginger cat as they navigate a city of neon lights unfamiliar to them. From a third-person perspective, players will have to get into the mindset of a cat, using their nine lives to better understand this intriguing world.

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll learn to love. It really is an emotive experience that no amount of words can truly convey until you experience it for yourself.
While this fantastic news, Stray isn’t on Xbox Game Pass, meaning you’ll have to pay for it separately. Luckily, there’s currently a sale on which prices the game at just £6, which is truly a bargain for a game described as “not just a game; it's emotion and state of mind”. That Steam reviewer is not wrong, nor are the countless other critics and fans who’ve lauded the game for exceeding everyone’s expectations.
Stray is now available to buy on the Xbox Series, and currently on sale for £6 for the next seven days.
