Hi, I was wondering if you wanted to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II's campaign ahead of the rest of the public? Of course you do, you've scrolled this far into the article without getting annoyed at me for not cutting to the chase. WAIT COME BACK.
Yes, that's right, it's the one that's the sequel to the "soft reboot" released in 2019. This certainly won't lead to a more than a handful of confused parents handing their teenyboppers a copy of the game that came out in 2009 (which is literally still not age appropriate for children but that's another topic). Bet they got a brilliant deal on it too from CEX.

Activision has announced that those who pre-order the game will get up to one week of early access to the entire single-player campaign as well as immediate access to the Legendary “Deathknell” Operator Skin and the Legendary “Bloodthirsty” Weapon Blueprint for use in Vanguard and Warzone. The perks don't stop there as players who pre-order will also be granted early access to the open beta.

To remind you, the open beta for Modern Warfare II is split into two weekends. Weekend One is exclusive to PlayStation and will be held from 16 September to 20 September for those who pre-ordered. Those who saved their pennies will enter the open beta from 18 September to 20 September. Weekend Two is for all platforms and will span 22 September to 26 September for pre-orders. Otherwise, Xbox and PC players will start their open beta access on 24 September to 26 September. Weekend Two is a free open beta for all PlayStation players, too.
Obviously, you can only get early access if you pre-order the digital edition. Additionally, the Vault Edition of Modern Warfare II nets you all of the aforementioned and playable Red Team 141 Operators, the FJX Cinder Weapon Vault, Season One battle pass and 50 tier skips and the cosmetic Ghost Legacy Pack.
