Modern Warfare II players are saying multiplayer map Shipment is 'ruining Call of Duty'.
The Shipment map has been around for years in one form or another. It made its debut back in 2007’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Depending on your perspective, this map is either great fun or a tormenting hell. In truth, it can all come down to your performance during that one particular game. Back in the day, players would generate incredible killstreaks and if the 'attack helicopter' killstreak was activated, then you were pretty much screwed.
Take a look at MWII in action below.
On the other hand, if you were a continuous recipient of that player's killstreak with constant spawn, death, spawn, death, then the chances are you’d soon be launching a controller at the TV screen or is that just me? In other words, whichever incarnation it may be, the Shipment map very much has a love/hate relationship with Call of Duty players. As reported by Dexerto, that relationship has been put to the test once more ever since its return in Modern Warfare II (2022) during the Season One midseason update.

“What are some unpopular MW2 2022 opinions that'll make you end up like this?” asked Redditor BigPaleontologist520.
“Shipment is a dogs**t map that's only good for grinding. However, it does have a purpose and they should just make shipment 24/7 a permanent playlist,” said a blunt Bale717. “Shipment is one of the worst maps in the franchise and all of the people who like it are sharing the same singular brain cell,” said Gas-and-Games while sizzlingsausag3 added, "Shipment is ruining Call of Duty."
However, there is one player that enjoys Shipment, and that’s Reddit user Spicy_Baconator. “I love shipment. To me, it's similar to Nuketown and it reminds me of that ice world map in counterstrike back in the day,” they said. “If I only have time to play for 1-2 hrs each session 2-3 days every week it's the quickest way to get my dopamine hits in.”
