Excited for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II? There’s really not long to wait for it now - it’s set to release on 28 October, shortly followed by the sequel to Warzone on 16 November.
Players already had the chance to get a taste for the new title during the open beta periods - it well down so well, in fact, that some fans expressed how difficult it was to go back to Warzone after experiencing the more updated game. Anyway, it thankfully sounds like players won’t have to wait too long for the game to download when it finally comes out.

DBLTAP has published the minimum and recommended PC requirements for Modern Warfare II, which have revealed that the install size is surprisingly slim. Apparently, you’ll only need 25GB of free space, and when you consider that Warzone requires a whopping 175GB of hard drive space, this new title is significantly smaller. Hopefully, this will allow players to get pretty much right into the action on launch day, rather than be stuck downloading. And otherwise, it sure is nice not to fill up too much space with one ginormous file.

As for the other system requirements, players will need 3GB of video memory, a DirectX compatible sound card, and Windows 10 64-bit OS. At minimum, 8GB of RAM is required, but it’s recommended that you have 16GB. For your CPU, at minimum, DBLTAP writes that the AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i5-3570 will do the trick, but the AMD Ryzen 7 1800X or Intel Core i7-4700K are recommended. Onto video cards, and the AMD Radeon RX 470 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 should work, but the AMD Radeon RX 580 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 will do the job better. Whew, that was a lot.
