Mass Effect fans are constantly on edge, waiting for new announcements of more news from BioWare.
Now, as the studio gears up to the launch of the staggering Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Executive Producer, Michael Gamble, has commented on the next instalment of Mass Effect.
We thought Dragon Age: The Veilguard was pretty damn special in our 10/10 review
Gamble took to Twitter to say, “Lots of people asking me about Mass Effect now that Veilguard reviews are out, and Oct 31 is close.“

This perhaps comes after some small populaces of gamers have taken umbrage with aspects of the latest Dragon Age visually and in its themes.
The Executive Producer at BioWare continued, “Both are from the studio, but Mass Effect is Mass Effect. How you bring a Sci-Fi RPG to life is different than other genres or IPs...and has to have different kinds of love.”
Of course, the comments are completely normal, with everyone poking at Dragon Age: The Veilguard for changing its visual style or covering themes of gender and sexuality.
To follow this up, Gamble commented on the tone of Mass Effect 5, which is currently in production.

“Regarding tone questions: Mass Effect will maintain the mature tone of the original Trilogy. This is all I'm gonna say for now,” said the producer.
So, it’s not much of an update, but it’s an update nonetheless. I can’t help but wonder if BioWare is watching this discourse closely in preparation of defending the next instalment of Mass Effect.
Though you could argue that the Mass Effect series has always been pretty freeing in what it allows the player to do, like banging hot aliens or being an evil bastard.
There is not much more known about Mass Effect 5 other than it’s coming, sooner or later, but we will hopefully see more on the project in the coming months.
