It’s been a while since Marvel and DC Comics collided and shoved their superheroes into one big crossover.
These events often felt like the epitome of schoolyard conversations about which superhero could beat up another, with Marvel and DC fans suggesting their favourites.
Superman is back in the big screen this year
It seems an old crossover will be revisited this year, to mark Superman and The Fantastic Four facing off in cinemas across the world.

With DC celebrating the ‘Summer of Superman’ and The Fantastic Four: First Steps appearing on the big screen, DC has seen fit to reprint the classic story where these stalwarts of comics came together.
In Superman Treasury 2025: Hero for All, the Man of Steel teams up with Marvel’s first family to combat Galactus and Cyborg Superman, and it makes its way onto shelves on 2 July 2025.
DC treasuries have become a way to celebrate older stories and bring them to modern audiences, and this classic tale will be a part of the next release for DC.
This story comes from Dan Jurgens and Bruno Redondo, and Jurgens took some time to talk about the project.

“It was an honour, years later, to be able to add to that line up of Treasury Editions with SUPERMAN vs. THE FANTASTIC FOUR,” said the creator.
Releasing in large format pages, the art will be devoured by readers in full colour, as if each page is a splash page, with action taking a front seat.
This is the perfect time to reprint the story, with comics fans flooding the cinemas this year to finally see Marvel get their hands on The Fantastic Four after many years without the licence.
And DC is bringing Superman back in a rebooted universe with James Gunn at the helm.
