It looks like an epic Marvel and DC crossover could be happening soon, something that fans have waited years for.
There was once a time when Marvel and DC would crossover via comic book collaborations, as we saw from 1976 to 2003 with the likes of Batman vs. Daredevil, Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men vs. Teen Titans and more.

However, it’s been a very long time since we saw such crossovers land in the world of Marvel and DC Comics, but it seems that this long drought will soon be over.

As reported by Comicsbeat (as per The Beat's Heidi MacDonald), DC and Marvel editors-in-chief Marie Jarvins and C.B. Cebulski, respectively, have announced that both comic book giants will collaborate later this year.
“Javins and Cebulski are teasing another Marvel/DC crossover - two one-shots Marvel/DC and DC/Marvel for 2025,” said MacDonald.

“I didn't expect to see this happening ever again,” exclaimed safior-scribe.
“It's about dang time. I remember reading the crossover ones years ago and loved them,” replied RisingPhoenixTV.
It’s been reported that the crossover will kick off with two one-shot releases, one being DC and Marvel, and the other being Marvel and DC. I presume that a leading character from each of the companies will take turns playing the star role.
At this time, no story details were shared on what each of the one-shot comics will entail or which characters will be playing the leading roles, but it’s exciting news nonetheless.

While this is exciting news for comic book readers, I wouldn't expect this level of crossover to happen with the MCU and DCU anytime soon, as awesome as that would be.
Of course, we’ll keep you posted when Marvel and DC drop additional details.
