The end of the year is almost upon us, which means a fresh year of entertainment lies ahead. It was previously revealed that season two of Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston as the titular God of Mischief, will air in summer 2023. Well, as an early festive treat, Disney has offered us our first look at the brand new series.
Last month’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever brought Phase Four of the MCU to a close. It was an experimental period, I think it’s fair to say. New mediums were adopted in the form of TV series’ and ‘Special Presentations’, and a bunch of new characters were introduced. Personally, I cannot wait to see more of Kamala Khan. It’s also worth noting that Phase Four is the first Marvel phase not to include a major Avengers team-up.
It may not be a part of the MCU, but you don’t want to miss the brand new trailer for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. Take a look below.
As we enter 2023, Phase Five commences and there are some great projects to look forward to - including season two of Loki. Disney Plus’ latest sizzle reel teases all that’s to come on the streamer, and one brief clip shows Loki and Mobius suited and booted. For what? We don’t know, but Mobius does remark that whatever they’re up to is “a little over the top”. Take a look below.
That’s not all. We also get a brief glimpse of Mando and Grogu back in action, with The Mandalorian’s third season due to debut on 1 March, and Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka. Marvel’s Secret Invasion will also premiere next year, and season two of Star Wars: The Bad Batch will kick off on 4 January.

Phase Five will be somewhat of a return to form. We may not be getting an Avengers film again, but this phase will build up to an event film - and that film is Thunderbolts. The film should see Phase Four characters Yelena, U.S Agent, Taskmaster, and Red Guardian team-up with returning characters like Bucky and Ghost. All in all, it sounds like we’re in for a treat.
