We’re mere weeks away from the release of The Last of Us Part I and oh boy, it’s an exciting time. Fans were a little dubious about the graphics of Naughty Dog’s new-gen remake at first, not because they were bad - just different. Since then, Part I seems to have won fans over with its reimagined environments, but there’s still one question on everyone’s lips: When do we get to see gameplay? Today, my friends. The full launch trailer is finally here.
Check out the launch trailer for The Last of Us Part I below.
As expected, the trailer certainly seems to suggest that The Last of Us Part I is inspired by the visuals and gameplay systems of Part II as the style of the new-gen remake very much appears to put Part I on par with its sequel.

I have a strong inkling that fans are going to be pretty hyped to see the remake’s gameplay as it’s something that Naughty Dog have been keeping a closed lid on until now. Can we take a moment to admire Ellie’s ferocity during that melee finisher? That’s what I call an upgrade.
If the trailer has left you desperate to dive in, thankfully we don’t have very long to wait at all as The Last of Us Part I is set to launch on 2 September. In case you missed it, HBO also dropped a first look at their upcoming TV adaptation. We’re feasting well fellow The Last of Us fans.
