Kingdom Come Deliverance II has received a sizeable update this month, adding new content to the game.
Despite some controversy surrounding its romance options, Kingdom Come Deliverance II was a big success for developer Warhorse Studios and publisher Deep Silver.
In case you missed it, here’s the trailer for Kingdom Come Deliverance II below
Fans have praised the game’s combat, open-world, and the sheer attention to detail found in its design, like how players who haven’t given their character a wash in a while will alert guards due to their stench, very immersive stuff.

Now the game is getting a pretty big update, adding a new game mode called Hardcore, which as you would imagine increases the difficulty for a more challenging gameplay experience.
That’s not all though, as you’ll soon be able to give your character a fresh trim with the new Barber Mode.
Pretty self-explanatory, you’ll be able to customise your character with new hairstyles so you can slay while you’re slaying.
It’s all good stuff, and hopefully it’s just the start as it’d be nice to see more content join the game in the future.

In other news, Warhorse Studios also gave a behind-the-scenes look at one of the dogs featured in the game, which did the rounds as the latest “can you pet the puppy?” meme when the game came out.
Turns out that dog was played by a human in the motion-capture for the game, so now when your character next gives it some affection two grown adults had to act that out for you…
If you haven’t played Kingdom Come Deliverance II yet it’s definitely worth a go, the reviews were overwhelmingly positive including our own, and it seems like plenty of players are still having a grand old time with the game weeks after launch.
