Rapper and producer, Kanye West, is no stranger to controversy nowadays. If he isn’t ranting incoherently on Twitter, or proclaiming himself to be a Nazi, then he’s hassling other celebrities for myriad other reasons.
Kanye, AKA ‘Ye’ or ‘Yeezy’ decided he’d hop on over to streaming website Twitch to speak directly to his fans, and within seven minutes was banned from the platform.
Schedule I has been a breakout hit on Twitch over the past few weeks
I’d love to tell you why the megastar rapper was banned, however, the reasons don’t seem all that clear.

If you were to head over to Ye’s Twitter post about the stream, you’re linked to Twitch and met with the message, “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
I’d find the tweet and link it here, but to be honest, I’d rather not trawl through Kanye’s many, many tweets.
Neither Twitch nor West has commented on the ban, or mentioned which terms of service were broken.
Perhaps it was a pre-emptive ban, with the knowledge that Kanye, at any minute, could say something deemed a breach of community guidelines.

In the past, West has been connected to other streamers, such as Kai Cenat, who was supposed to host the rapper in January of this year.
The broadcast never happened, and Cenat decided to remove himself from any conversation with Kanye.
Adin Ross also tried to link up with the hip hop star, but that stream also hasn’t happened.
Yeezy will now have to find a new platform if he wants to speak to his fans directly, but I’d imagine that most will want to avoid hosting West.

I’m sure he could just go live on Twitter, instead, as his buddy Elon will likely give him the air to say what he feels like.
We’re a long way from the days of Graduation and College Dropout.
