Twitch streamer Asmongold has been officially banned on Twitch, for an outburst he made about Palestine and its culture to his viewers.
If you have access to the internet I’m sure you’ve probably encountered or at least heard of Asmongold before, as the streamer has garnered fame for his outlandish views and living conditions.

On a recent stream Asmongold ranted to his viewers about Palestinians, a rant that’s placed the streamer into seriously hot water.

During the stream Asmongold is quoted as saying “So no, I'm not going to cry a f****** river when people who have genocide that's baked into their laws are getting genocided … They're terrible people. It's not even a question. It's crazy that people don't see it that way. They'd be doing the same thing.”
The situation escalated further when Asmongold went on to say “These people are not your allies. They're not the same as us. They come from an inferior culture that is horrible. It kills people for their identity, and it is directly antithetical to everything Western values stand for, and it is an inferior culture in all ways. It is that simple. No, I don't feel bad for them, I don't feel sorry for them, I don't care."
As you can imagine many viewers demanded that swift action be taken against Asmongold’s Twitch account, which the platform obliged.
For violating Twitch’s terms of the service the account has been hit with a ban and is no longer acted.

Asmongold has since stepped forward to apologise for the outburst, making a post on X that read: "Looking back on it, I was way too much of an asshole about the Palestine thing. My bad.”
The apology has done little to quell the outrage though, as viewers are adamant they don’t want the streamer on Twitch anymore.
