Rockstar Games could make an announcement in the coming weeks, finally giving is a date for the highly anticipated release of GTA VI.
This tease comes from industry insider Tom Henderson, who believes the company is gearing up to announce the launch date in the next two weeks, ahead of the Take-Two earnings call.
This will be the second trailer for GTA 6, one day
The earnings call is due for 15 May, so if Rockstar Games is going to announce anything, it will be soon.

Do GTA VI fans believe it will happen, though?
Over on Reddit, they’re pretty torn on whether we’ll finally get the news we’ve been waiting for.
“This story is safe to disregard,” says one Redditor, after hearing the rumour.
Henderson clarified that he doesn’t actually have any inside news on the announcement, and that it was pure speculation on his part, but the timing of the call would make news of a release date more likely.

“I just hope they say something... We’ve waited too long,” said Fluffy-Cat2826.
“I don't believe in nothing anymore,” says another fan within the thread.
It’s hard to believe anything when it comes to GTA VI - there have been so many points where fans have got their hopes up only to be disappointed.
PresentationDull7707 has a thought - “Considering PlayStation dropped the trailer for Yotei in the middle of the night out of nowhere, I’d assume they wanted it out before a GTA 6 trailer. Any other year, that trailer probably would’ve been released at their showcase.”

Huffing copium? Or valid point?
Many studios will want to avoid being overshadowed by the emergence of GTA VI, but they likely wouldn’t have any inside news.
Mister_Frowdo says, “Would make sense, right before or right after the earnings call. One can only hope.”
At this point, hope is all we have, until Rockstar Games finally shows its hand.
