As House of the Dragon continues, a few things have become very clear. For a start, everyone loves Milly Alcock’s portrayal of young Rhaenyra, no one seems to be able to take episode four seriously, and, apparently, the show's crew consider one character to be a “bullying white boy” (no, it’s not Daemon). Oh, and nobody likes Otto Hightower - many have expressed that they’d prefer Lyonel Strong to take on the role of Hand of the King instead.
Take a look at the official House of the Dragon trailer below.
Otto is played by Rhys Ifans - a great actor, no doubt. However, some fans are just now realising that he had some iconic roles before House of the Dragon. In a TikTok posted by JellyJoshin, the user praised the actor’s “amazing range”, and pointed out that he was previously cast as Xenophilius Lovegood (Luna Lovegood’s dad) in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 and Curt Connors (AKA the Lizard) in The Amazing Spider-Man.
Others in the TikTok comments are blown away: “NO WAY [THAT’S] THE SAME GUY? MIND BLOWN,” wrote Sam. “THE LIZARD?!?!” commented Iver. “I didn’t even realise,” added SAMREEN.
