Assassin's Creed Witch Hunt is a concept for a new Assassin's Creed game that sees the central character rein in the Templars' zealous reproach and restore justice to a chaotic world.
Of course, this is what we're hoping to see in Assassin's Creed Hexe, which was announced in September. Details are very light on the ground at the moment, however, we are expecting that Hexe will be a shorter game that doesn't necessarily lean into the action-RPG ways of the more recent entries. Furthermore, the text surrounding the Assassin's Creed symbol was translated from Old German to read, "We work in the dark to serve the light." Then, the words inside the pentagram might be a something similar to a spell: "Mephisto avenge this house." Scary stuff.

Plenty of people are saying that Hexe should have a singular female protagonist, but this concept titled Assassin's Creed Witch Hunt from Enfant Terrible sees a male assassin approaching the burning remains of a village, with the objective to discover a secret tomb. We only imagine that the Templars had been here recently and failed in that task, deciding to torch their tracks to rid the area of witnesses. Take a look:
Totems are scattered on trees, swaying slightly in the wind, and the character examines what looks to be a ransacked grave marked with a crucifix. To those who've been playing Pentiment, you'll know how pagan religions and Christianity can clash with severe consequences, and personally I would love to see some horrifying magic in Witch Hunt and Hexe drawing from Isu relics. I mean, if we can have Destiny 2 crossovers, it's not that much of reach.
