Hogwarts Legacy just got a brand new update, and it’s added some specific support for players who love squeezing as much performance out of their games as possible.
Thank you in advance to Dark Side of Gaming's John Papadopoulos for their breakdown of the patch notes!
Build Version 1378783 for Hogwarts Legacy just dropped on PC, and it’s brought support for both AMD FSR 3 & Intel XeSS 2.0 along with it.

If you don’t know what that is, basically it’s just PC-specific support that will make the game run better. This means that Hogwarts Legacy now supports frame generation if you have either an AMD or an Intel graphics card.
Frame generation tech adds extra frames between preexisting ones. Don’t ask me how, because I’m not smart enough to explain, but the long and short of it is your frames-per-second will increase and your game will look nicer.
Alongside this, there are also some Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit-specific updates. Most of these won’t affect you if you’re not a modder yourself, but in the long term, it should mean that you’ll get a few extra goodies to download in the future due to the expanded support.
There are also a few bug fixes included in the patch notes, but most of them seem relatively small. The biggest one appears to be some light fixes for some ray-tracing issues, so owners of beefy PCs will doubtlessly be happy that the game can now look even prettier.

Beyond that, if there’s a specific issue you might have encountered, I’d suggest you give the patch notes a quick browse to see if it’s been fixed.
Not a massively exciting patch as such, but a much-needed one by the sounds of things. Here’s hoping that’s because the team is hard at work on finalising the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.
