Hogwarts Legacy players are signing into the game to find a massive download waiting for them and many have wondered what Warner Bros could have possibly added to make it so vast.
Well, if you’re wondering, it’s actually a pretty simple explanation - and it's to do with the PlayStation 5 Pro.
The most recent outing in the Wizarding World is Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions.
Now that Sony’s juggernaut console is dropping onto the doorsteps of buyers across the world, many games are getting the upgrade treatment to take advantage of the console’s power.

Though a quick scan of the patch notes also shows that the developers have been putting in work and squashing a bunch of bugs while tweaking many aspects of the game for all platforms.
This latter content change is also likely due to the influx of players because of Sony’s console.
Warner Bros. Games will, after all, want those players to be experiencing Hogwarts Legacy at its very best.
It’s no use looking gorgeous if what’s inside isn’t up to scratch - something my last date told me.

Among the many fixes, is this wonderful sentence, “Fixed instance where Multiple Fwoopers would spawn on top of each other, resulting in unintended behavior.” Oh to be a dev working on this issue.
The game will also see improved stability, improvements to the VFX, and lighting, and some missions have been tweaked for quality-of-life purposes.
There has been a lot of talk regarding the future of Hogwarts Legacy in recent days after Warner Bros made several statements on the sequel which will reportedly be set in the modern day and tie into the new HBO reboot of the Harry Potter story.
This is wonderful news for fans of the franchise and it guarantees that we’ll have more chances to enjoy the Wizarding World.
