Hogwarts Legacy was 2023’s best-selling game and yet, it doesn’t feel as if that’s a fact that developers have taken advantage of.
Post-launch content has been lacklustre, and there doesn’t appear to be anything on the way in terms of a DLC expansion.
You’d assume that a sequel might be coming, but we haven’t had confirmation about that either.

The only rumour that has surfaced suggests that Rocksteady, the studio behind Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, may be assisting Avalanche on a Director’s Cut of the game.
While this is by no means confirmed, it’s a tidbit that comes from a reliable source - namely Bloomberg - and it would explain why devs haven’t yet capitalised on the game’s success.
Until any such content is announced though, fans will simply have to make do with the previously launched summer update.
Underwhelming is the word that springs to mind.

While players were perhaps hoping for an extension of Summoner's Court or Crossed Wands, they were instead given a new Photo Mode and access to the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest, a former PlayStation exclusive.
That’s all well and good for Xbox, PC, and Switch players but it did mean that the update proved to be rather dull for those on PlayStation.

Headliners aside, the update also brought with it the Onyx Hippogriff mount, Felix Felicis potion recipe, Azkaban coat, Azkaban Prisoner’s outfit, The Glasses That Lives, and the Lavender Borealis broom.
You might not have claimed the Onyx Hippogriff mount though.
Instead of being automatically added to your account, some players haven't realised that you need to head over to your console’s digital storefront to actually claim the item.
It’s totally free on all storefronts but you do have to manually claim it, so don’t miss out.
