Hogwarts Legacy 2 needs to make some big changes, as fans have been discussing on Reddit.
When Hogwarts Legacy was released earlier in the year, it soon became a Game of the Year contender for 2023. While not a perfect game, this action RPG set within the Wizarding World lets fans explore Hogwarts and its surrounding areas like never before. A sequel to Hogwarts Legacy hasn't been announced (yet), but considering that it outsold the mighty Elden Ring’s lifetime sales in just five weeks makes it about as inevitable as a Thanos finger snap.
Someone modded PS1 Hagrid into the game. Take a look below.
That being said, Warner Bros. has seemingly teased Hogwarts Legacy 2. The publisher is already considering the property to be a long-term franchise, so with that in mind, players have been discussing what they’d like to see in a potential sequel. “What would you like to see in Hogwarts Legacy 2?” asked Redditor MikosEybrig. “I know it's too early to talk about a sequel, but I wanted to know what you'd like to see in the Hogwarts Legacy 2 story,” they continued. “If you want to talk about mechanics feel free, although the question is more geared towards the game's story.”
In quite a long response, Jedi4Hire covered a lot of ground in terms of what many fans would like to see, such as a more in-depth character creation, an improved loot system, a branching story and morality system, as well as romance and companionship options. Oh, and “something to do outside of the main story than just mindless f**king collections.” Personally, I’d love to see Quidditch as a playable mode in the game, both single-player and multiplayer. I think that’s a likelihood whether it is delivered via DLC in Hogwarts Legacy or if it's introduced in a sequel.
