I’m sorry to say it but yes, the wait for Grand Theft Auto VI continues. To ease your sorrows though, allow me to update you on the latest GTA Online content drop in the meantime.
We’ve been waiting a decade for GTA VI, but it does look like the end is in sight. In recent days, Take-Two Interactive (Rockstar’s parent company) confirmed that they’re expecting a highly successful 2025 fiscal year, which seems to suggest the release of a new title. The 2025 fiscal year runs from April 2024 to April 2025, so we could see GTA VI launch as soon as next spring. Developers are reportedly ‘seeking perfection’ on the project and we cannot wait to see how it turns out. In the meantime though, a fresh update was dropped for GTA Online.
GTA VI is rumoured to be set in Vice City. This incredible mod may give us an idea of what to expect.
As revealed on the Rockstar blog, there is double RP and GTA$ on Power Play this week, plus Acid Lab production speeds have been boosted by 50%. There’s also a nice 30% off Acid Lab supplies, which should pair nicely with the boosted production speed. You’re going to want to keep an eye on Daily Stash Houses. If you raid one, wipe out the protection and crack the safe on three different days this week, you’ll earn a whopping GTA$100,000 bonus.

If it’s cosmetics that you’re after, you can now wear what are essentially Crocs in-game - although Rockstar are referring to them as Ugglies, in addition to Ensemble Cuffs. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, there’s a Principle Deveste Eight premium test ride, and a new HSW Time Trial.
That’s not all. Visit Simeon Yetarian’s Premium Deluxe Motorsport showroom for a look at the latest selection of cars, including 30% off the Coil Cyclone. The Luxury Autos Showroom will have the coveted Grotti GT500 and Obey 10F on display. Finally, from 7 June, GTA+ members will receive a free Vapid Slamtruck, a complimentary Drone Station for your arcade, new Chameleon paints, triple GTA$ and RP on Freemode Events, and 50% extra GTA$ and RP on G’s Caches. Phew, we got to the end eventually.
