When Grand Theft Auto VI is finally released, it will no doubt be one of the most successful video games of all time.
MrBeast is without question one of, if not the most popular content creator on the planet. As of March this year, real name James Stephen Donaldson had a whopping 138 million YouTube subscribers placing him fourth in the all-time subscriber list, resulting in a staggering net worth.

However, since that time, following yet another record-breaking video upload, MrBeast has now shot to second in the all-time list with an eye-watering 177 million YouTube subscribers, according to a Wiki entry. The only channel to top Donaldson at this time, is Indian music record label and PewDiePie arch nemesis, T-Series with 247 million subscribers, at the time of writing.

As of right now, MrBeast's most popular YouTube upload is ‘$456,000 Squid Game In Real Life!’ with over 484 million views. Most aspiring YouTubers, can only dream of reaching these kinds of numbers, so surely, other than T-Series, no one else can topple MrBeast, at least in video views, right?
Well, it seems that there might be another, albeit not an individual YouTuber, but rather a massive video game developer, namely Rockstar Games with the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto VI on the way.
“Do you think that the GTA VI trailer will break the YouTube world record for views in 24 hours?” asked Redditor Nun-Much. “Currently, this record is held by MrBeast, with his latest video. I genuinely do wonder if this will be broken by the trailer since this is the most anticipated game so far,” they continued.

“Maybe. The thing is that gaming trailers are reposted by other channels and posted on other social media platforms as well. MrBreast only posts to YouTube and there's only one video,” explained Pro_RazE. “I'll be surprised if it didn't,” replied usernamereddit5000. “Forget 24 hours more like the first 24 seconds,” exclaimed jakb2264.
However, not everyone believes that the GTA VI trailer will smash MrBeast’s record. “Not even close. The GTA V trailer has 90 million views after 11 years. Sure, that’s from ages ago and the internet is now way bigger, but I highly doubt GTA VI will break MrBeast records, he just has waaaay too big of a following,” added Fushigibama.
At this time, we have no clue as to when the debut trailer for GTA VI will drop, let alone its release date. All we know so far is that GTA VI is in development and it may have been rebooted at least once during its reported decade of production.
Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
