GTA VI fans are either predicting a monumental moment for the upcoming game, or simply putting on the clown makeup to be disappointed once again.
It has been quite some time since the blockbuster game was announced and several months have passed since the first GTA VI trailer dropped - almost a year, in fact.
343 days later and we're still waiting for a new trailer for GTA VI.
It’s understandable fans are eager to see more of the game and there’s a new theory doing the rounds on Reddit pointing to a new trailer coming out on 22 November.

What’s the theory?
Earlier this month, Rockstar Games released a promotional image for GTA Online in which a waning gibbous moon is shown.
On 22 November, the real-life moon will move into its waning gibbous phase - this is all broken down on Twitter too, by the way.
You could say, “Hey, it’s just for a moon festival in GTA Online,” but apparently it goes deeper than that.

Redditors think that Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, won’t post the second trailer in December because their other crime-based game, Mafia: The Old Country is due to have a trailer shown that month.
On top of this, fans theorise that the song that played over the first trailer comes from an album called Full Moon Fever featuring a lyric, “I will wait for the moon.”
Is the next GTA VI trailer linked to the phases of the moon? Or are the fans of Reddit finally losing the plot?
The GTA VI subreddit is filled with fans “having a little trust” or “faith” in the theory, which seems wild to me, but I kind of love it.

Despite how madcap this idea is, if Rockstar Games has plotted this out and teased the fans along, it’s a masterwork in promotion.
Of course, this is where I have to remind you this is all speculation and we’ll get the trailer when we get it, which is hopefully very soon.
