A “screenshot” from Grand Theft Auto VI has “leaked” online recently… and if you’re wondering why that’s all in quotations then you’re probably the reason why this got any traction in the first place.
Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto VI has been absolutely sending fans up the wall recently.
Grand Theft Auto fans are desperate for anything, from screenshots to even a morsel of info from Rockstar.

They’ve taken to religiously studying the GTA VI trailer for clues, working their way through every single one of Rockstar Games’ social accounts for hints, and even tracking down the developers online to see if they’ve posted anything.
Also, as a random aside, please don’t bother the poor folks working on this game you absolute weirdos.
And now, we’ve reached the absolute peak of the coping stage: just straight up making stuff up.
This image of GTA VI’s protagonist Lucia has been making the round online over the past few days, featuring the character standing in a strip club in a bikini.

There’s just one little issue with that picture - it’s fake.
As the community notes have probably already revealed, it’s AI-generated. One of the characters in the background of the image just happens to have three arms and three legs, a telltale sign of an image being generated by an AI tool.
This isn’t the first time they’ve tried to will something fake into existence either, as a couple of weeks ago the Grand Theft Auto community tried to convince themselves that this Red Dead Redemption 2 promo image was somehow a hint towards Grand Theft Auto VI’s second trailer.
At this point, I think it’s fair to say that people are banking on the fact that everyone is so desperate to see the second GTA VI trailer that it’s getting easier and easier to fool folks online with stuff like this.

Unless it comes directly from Rockstar themselves, don’t bother trusting whatever you see.
