Each time news arrives on Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series, it breaks the internet and GTA VI is certainly no exception.
When the first official trailer for GTA VI was revealed by Rockstar Games in December 2023, it smashed records as the YouTube upload edges near to 200 million views and counting. It remains to be seen whether or not the second trailer for the highly anticipated sequel will break even more records, but I’d be surprised if it didn't.

At this time, we don't know a great deal about GTA VI. Sure, we know that one of its locations will be the returning Miami-inspired location of Vice City, and it will feature two protagonists, Jason and Lucia.

So understandably, fans are desperate to learn more about the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, whether it’s a new gameplay trailer, new locations, gameplay mechanics or something else. Rockstar Games hasn't announced when the second official GTA VI trailer will arrive but a Reddit user named Kendo9317 believes they have the answer.
As indicated by past announcements of Rockstar Games, Kendo9317 believes that the GTA VI trailer will arrive on 15 May 2024 and judging by the Reddit post, it certainly adds up.
On 22 May 2017, Rockstar Games announced a delay for Red Dead Redemption 2, a day before the Q4 2017 financial reports for publisher Take-Two Interactive. Then on 8 November 2023, Rockstar Games announced that the first GTA VI trailer was on the way and a day after that, the Q2 2024 financial report was released.

The next financial report for Take-Two Interactive is for Q4 2024 and is expected to arrive on 16 May which has led Kendo9317 to believe that the next GTA VI trailer will arrive the day before.
Will we see the next trailer for GTA VI next month? Only time will tell.
Grand Theft Auto VI will be released in 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. At the time of writing, a PC release hasn't been announced, yet.
