Although we are finally in the time after our very first official Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, fans are still desperate to learn more before the game releases sometime in 2025.
It has been a couple of weeks since fans were finally treated to the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer and the 90 seconds of footage has been scrutinised frame-by-frame. From eagle-eyed fans noticing an electronic tag on Lucia’s ankle, which may mean some of the map is locked to us at the start, to a bikini-clad Lucia-lookalike which is unsurprisingly the most replayed moment.

With the footage well and truly studied, fans are turning their attention back to the 2022 leaks which saw the offender in question receive jail time. However, nothing is ever truly gone on the internet and those leaked images and footage are still available to this day. This includes a look at a police chase that will seemingly take place in GTA VI.

The clip shared by Sportskeeda (and originally part of the 2022 leaks) shows a character (believed to be Lucia) finding themselves being chased by cops. Lucia shoots at the police SUVs in order to slow them down whilst the driver (who many believe to be Jason) speeds down the highway.
What managed to get fans excited was the police AI which seems to be a lot more reactive than what we have seen in previous Grand Theft Auto titles. The improved AI would match reports made in August 2023 which said the system would receive a “complete overhaul”.
We are unsure if this scene will make it into the final game but it is an interesting look at some of the driving and combat nonetheless. The original video has since been taken down.
In related Grand Theft Auto VI news, the 'Florida Joker' is reportedly suing Rockstar for $1 to 2 million for using his likeness. This is not the same story for the trailer’s 'Mud Girl' who has already been cosplayed by an OnlyFans model and I must say, it’s an incredible likeness.
