Grand Theft Auto VI fans are, rather understandably, desperate for a second trailer.
Naturally, it would be nice if that trailer featured gameplay but honestly, I don’t think any of us are being too picky at this point; just a crumb from Rockstar would be nice.
In the meantime, fans have unearthed a glimpse at what we might be able to expect from the game in GTA V of all places.

GTA V recently welcomed a major graphics update on PC which added ray-tracing, ambient occlusion, and global illumination, as well as AMD FSR and NVIDIA DLSS support.
As pointed out by Reddit user lopsidedawn, this glow-up could provide some idea as to what the new-gen GTA VI might look like.
GTA VI’s reveal trailer remains all that’s available to us.
“We can definitively say now that GTA VI graphics are going to be insane,” the user wrote, showing a comparison of GTA V before and after the latest graphics update.

“This new GTA V update brings global illumination to Los Santos and it looks so good, can you imagine this in Vice City?”
You can view that comparison for yourself.
That’s quite the improvement; something plenty of fans flocked to remark.

“Remember, I think this is RAGE 7. They can’t do much here. Imagine what they’ll be able to do on 9,” AgitatedFly1182 noted.
“I am telling you we are not ready hahaha,” replied CplKingShaw.
Let’s face it, GTA VI’s reveal trailer gave us a pretty good idea of what the game will look like.
Yes, there’s no gameplay, but devs did confirm after the trailers release that it comprised entirely of in-engine footage rather than pre-rendered cinematics.

When that gameplay does drop, it shouldn’t look all that dissimilar.
We may be in the dark as to when the game’s next announcement is coming but at least we’re on the final countdown.
Fall 2025 is only two seasons away, my friends - not that I want to rush the spring and summer.
