If there is one thing Grand Theft Auto fans have asked for over the years it is an instalment of the Rockstar classic that takes place in London. Although we doubt this will be the case any time soon, one open-world game will definitely do the job.
With Grand Theft Auto 6 set to be released in 2025 and taking place in the Miami-inspired Vice City, it is about as far away from London, England as you can get. However, for developers Concrete Realm, they have come up with ENDS, a “gritty action-adventure RPG” that allows players to immerse themselves in an “authentic open-world experience set on the ruthless streets of London”.

The game which is currently gaining attention on the crowd-funding website Kickstarter is looking for £10k in order to start development. However, with an accompanying trailer which shows ENDS made in Unreal Engine 5, it is hard not to see its potential.

“Not everyone is born special. Some are born with a silver spoon, they're destined for big houses, nice cars and an inheritance. But for those who are born normal, even surviving is a struggle,” the official synopsis reads.
You will play as Rahim who lives in a one-bedroom flat with his mother and younger brother who he fights to provide for. Alongside friends Sonny and Reece, he was raised in the ends with not much money but a supportive community.
In this RPG, you will need to make crucial choices whilst navigating the city of London. To make it even more authentic, Concrete Realm have collaborated with “real UK talent from influencers to content creators, artists and clothing brands”.
ENDS is currently in its crowdfunding stage but aims for release at the end of 2025 so make sure you head over to the Kickstarter page if you want to see this game come to life!
