A new summer update for Grand Theft Auto 5 Online is adding new missions, new content and new rewards to the game, along with new tools for creators who are looking to make their own races and missions.
"This summer, it's time for some (high-value) target practice to clean up the roving reprobates of Southern San Andreas in a series of new missions for Maude's bail enforcement and bounty hunting business out in Grapeseed in the next major update for GTA Online. Meanwhile, back in town, Vincent needs help enforcing his authority without official oversight - get behind the wheel of your souped-up Cruiser and conduct a range of off-the-books enforcement activities across Los Santos," the press release reads.
In addition to this, the update will also include new cars and boosts of rewards from modes such as Taxi Work, Operation Paper Trail and several others. One of the more exciting elements, however, is the addition of new creation tools for custom maps. Fans can now add new elements to the maps, including the ability to actually have crowd animations and testing races from any given checkpoint, so that players don't have to test a whole race every single time they add a new element to their custom race.

GTA Online was first released in October 2013, not long after the release of the base game, Grand Theft Auto V . Late last year, in December, the trailer for the newest game in the Grand Theft Auto series was leaked, before being officially released later that day by developer Rockstar. Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled for release in 2025, though it has been noted by Kotaku sources that while early 2025 was initially targeted as a potential release date, it'll now likely release in the later half of 2025.
