Rockstar Games just announced that Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online will be getting one final patch on PC before Grand Theft Auto VI finally drops, and fans couldn’t be happier with what’s on offer.
The new update will divide GTA V into two different versions: Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto V Legacy.
The new version will include “sought-after features previously only available in the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of GTA Online,” such as ray-tracing support, all the latest updates to Hao's Special Works, animals, and the ability to finally purchase a GTA+ Membership. All of this and more will be available in a new update on March 4.

Over on the r/gtaonline subreddit, fans are thrilled that Rockstar Games are continuing to support the PC version of the game.
“I love this! As silly as it sounds I love the deal of GTA+ I’ll be buying it when it comes to PC,” commented user Cruxal_.
“It helped my wife get started a lot better on PS5 when I finally got her to try this masterpiece of a game.”
“The ray traced GI and AO will be a nice preview of what's to come with GTA VI, and with DLSS we can finally play without jaggies or 8x MSAA,” replied user BoxOfBlades.

“Three years late but f**k it W R* I hope the update goes well.”
It should also be noted that a lot of the commentators in that thread are also a little bit peeved that it took so long for Rockstar Games to bring these updates to the PC version of the game, but personally I don’t think we should look a gift horse in the mouth on this one.
At least it’s a good indication of Rockstar’s intentions for a potential PC port of Grand Theft Auto VI.
