It is often easy to forget that throughout the course of development on some of our favourite video games, certain content would have been cut and although there must have been a reason for this, knowing that there is more out there is often too much of a tease.
That is why some creators make an effort to restore some of that cut content and that is the case for one Red Dead Redemption 2 fan.
Check out the Red Dead Redemption 2 launch trailer below!
From its very first trailer, Red Dead Redemption 2 came quite a long way but as masters of storytelling, fans have quite a lot of trust in Rockstar to not cut anything too important from the final copy.

However, that doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t like to see it and luckily, modder niel0258 has made that possible.
At least when it comes to cut dialogue.
Their Cut Voiceline Restoration mod over on Nexus Mods does exactly what it says on the tin. It aims to restore any voice lines that have been cut from the final copy of Red Dead Redemption 2.
These certain lines of dialogue cannot be triggered by any normal means and can only be experienced via this free mod.

That means that once downloaded, players will be able to hear brand-new content during the following moments:
- John's Spurring Voiceline
- Combat Taunts (single , multiple enemies & law variants)
- Buying from shelves
- Fight Won
- Aggressive Draft Horse Whipping (triggered when in combat)
- Missing a Target
Additionally, the creator hints at other possible scenarios in which a new voice line could be heard so it is worth keeping an ear out when playing.
It seems as though the mod is already a hit as despite only being uploaded on 10 February, it has already gained almost 1,500 unique downloads.

So despite Red Dead Redemption 2 being widely regarded as one of the best single player games of the past decade, it is clear that fans are still itching for more.
