Fortnite's Fracture, the event that will spell the end of Chapter 3, has now got a date and time and it turns out this will be the shortest Chapter in the history of the game. All change.
At the end of every Chapter, Epic Games has sowed havoc on its game, though there won't be anything like the black hole that obliterated Fortnite's world in 2019. Chapter 2 saw the island flipped upside down to introduce the map in Chapter 3, and this Fracture is likely something to do with the rift that's popped up above Loot Lake. The last time there was a crack in the sky, the Cube entered this reality, eventually ending up at Loot Lake and bringing the Cube Monsters into Fortnite. There's a theory, therefore, that the Cube Monsters are on their way back to the game and might culminate in a battle between Cubes and chrome at the end of this Chapter.

This Chapter has had a lot of awesome moments - like the Dragon Ball crossover, the new No Build mode, evochrome weapons, the reality seeds and more. It is an interesting choice also to end the Chapter so soon because Chapters are spaced out generously. There was a two year gap between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, and another two year gap between Chapter 2 and Chapter 3. This potentially spells an acceleration in the content that Epic Games is offering its community, yet it's difficult to say until the developer shows its hand.
Additionally, Chapter 3 has a number of storylines yet to be resolved, like the fate of The Seven, Paradigm's return from Reality 659, and what might be an appearance from Midas. All will become clear on 3 December.
