Cyberpunk 2077 fans will be overjoyed to hear the game is crossing over with a beloved battle-royale, maybe you’ve heard of it…
The cultural impact of Cyberpunk 2077 needs to be studied, as it went from one of the most hyped up games of all time, to a disaster by all accounts, to a redeemed masterpiece and cautionary tale for what a rushed AAA game can do to a developer's reputation.
At least the story had a happy ending though, as the game is now a sight to behold
As we wait for the already planned sequel, fans can look forward to an exciting new collaboration that’ll see characters from the game make their Fortnite debut.

Fortnite has brought together so many iconic IPs over the years, it was only a matter of time before Cyberpunk 2077 made the leap. It’ll join its fellow CD Projekt Red property The Witcher and reportedly feature character and vehicle skins.
Unlike the Marvel collaboration it’s doubtful there’ll be anything more to this than cosmetics, but you never know perhaps a new mythic weapon will also be included like Johnny Silverhand’s handgun.
The next season of Fortnite will bring Eastern culture to the game, diving into Japanese mythology and samurai to name a few things.
It makes sense why Cyberpunk 2077 is joining the party, after all that’s a game that lets you carve down enemies with a futuristic katana, and Night City featured several locations reminiscent of Eastern culture.

Fortnite is currently amidst its Fortnite Chapter 2: Remix season, which has seen the return of the old map but with a few fun twists, as Snoop Dog and Eminem have joined the fray with unique weapons, which is not a statement I ever thought I’d have to say.
The next season will kick off on 30 November, so you can expect a teaser trailer from Epic Games very soon.
