The excellent Far Cry 4 will be free to download and keep in the next few weeks, and it's definitely worth a look - if only to remind yourself of what was arguably the last really good Far Cry game before its formulaic approach to open-world design really started to outstay its welcome.
Ubisoft's 2014 Far Cry is to be one of the handful of free games available to Amazon Prime subscribers in June. In addition to Far Cry 4, you can also grab Escape from Monkey Island, Astrologaster, Across the Grooves, Calico, and WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship.
As is always the way with Prime's free games, these are available on PC only. You can expect the usual raft of free content for some of the biggest games currently out there.

If you've never played Far Cry 4 before, it's definitely worth checking out. The game takes place in a fictional Himalayan country run by a terrifying villain in the form of Pagan Min (Troy Baker). While perhaps not quite as memorable as Far Cry 3, it's an adrenaline-fueled open-world romp, and a pleasant way to spend a weekend or two.
The new Prime free games will be available to download from June 1, at which point you can also snag a bunch of new freebies for the following games: Destiny 2, Smite, Call of Duty, Fall Guys, Overwatch, and FIFA 22. The free content for these games will be released throughout the month, so keep an eye out for more information on how to claim your exclusive tat.
