If you’re anything like me, I’m imagining that Prime Video’s excellent Fallout TV adaptation has sent you running back to Fallout 4.
The franchise is experiencing a massive surge in renewed interest and it’s so lovely to see.
In the days following the show’s premiere, Bethesda revealed that it had welcomed in an influx of around 5 million players across all Fallout games.

That includes Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 76, but it’s Fallout 4 that’s drawn the most attention thanks to its new-gen update.
That update came with a few classic Bethesda bugs, but a patch has since been rolled out to rectify many of these.
Be warned, if you’re playing Fallout 4 on PC, the new-gen update may affect any mods you have downloaded and in use.
The update was well-timed though given that there’s no Fallout 5 on the horizon.

Yes, it is technically on the way but with Bethesda hard at work on Starfield’s post-launch support and the upcoming The Elder Scrolls VI, it’s almost guaranteed that we won’t see it land in this console generation.
It’s a good job then that Fallout 4 offers up such a detailed and expansive world for us to explore.

This find comes courtesy of Reddit user Br0wnieDraws who wrote, “Taking a moment to appreciate that this little girl is just roaming the wasteland with her trusty sentry bot making what few caps she can.”
Have you bumped into her on your travels?
“I’ve got 2,500+ hours in Fallout 4 and I’ve never ran across this encounter,” one player replied.

“I never ran into them yet and I barely fast travel,” said another.
There you have it. Keep an eye out.
