If there is one thing that fans of the Fable series would love, it is more Fable and luckily, this open-world take on the RPG classic does just that.
First released way back in 2004, Fable was the first entry in the action RPG series developed by Big Blue Box. Since then, it has gone on to receive two sequels as well as news of an upcoming reboot which was reported to be in full production as of March 2023.
Check out the trailer for the upcoming Fable title below!
With each title in the series going on to receive unmitigated success, it is no wonder that fans are still eager for more than 20-years on. So whilst we wait for the upcoming reboot, one creator has given us a sneak peek at what the world of Fable could look like if it was fully open-world.

Level reDesign on Youtube has been working on a project that not only remakes Fable into an open-world title but that also brings it into Unreal Engine 5. The result is seamless and despite just being a fan project, it already has Fable lovers overjoyed.
“In this unscripted video, I will be talking about the regions I have currently in the game, and how I am connecting them to make a fully seamless world for Fable,” the video description reads. “I also explain how I will be making Albion seem larger and feel more lived in than the original games.”
The video itself features just over 20-minutes of footage showing us iconic Fable locations such as Bowerstone North, Lookout Point and the Hero’s Guild to name a few and it is safe to say that the comments were soon flooded with praise.
“Oh my god, this is awesome. I will check your progress sometimes, love this game and an open world Fable is an amazing idea. Good luck and hope it'll be playable in the future,” read one comment.
