The Elder Scrolls 6 is too far away to care about right now and there are other RPGs vying for our attention.
How about Towers of Aghasba? Which has all the hallmarks of a great contender for an RPG great - combat, exploration, building, and plenty of historical lore to dive into.

With a gorgeous open world, this looks like it’ll be a favourite for a lot of people. It’s stunning to look at and the detail appears incredible.

As a hero you will try to establish a new, revitalised world for the Shimu people who were forced to flee their homeland after an invasion from the Withered.
Now it’s up to us to make things right, with this RPG survival game, where you’ll be doing everything from exploring to working with friends and regrowing crops.
Eventually, a sprawling civilisation will flourish and you’ll manage your populace in this wonderful sandbox environment.
There looks to be some delightful creatures roaming around that you can befriend - well, if you can’t then I’ll be writing a strongly worded letter to the developers.

There are some Legend of Zelda vibes here too. Strong Breath of the Wild imagery of floating across the broad landscape on a glider and exploring craggy cliffs.
Of course, there’s an easy comparison to The Elder Scrolls here. It’s just got that feel - wandering around huge open spaces, constantly getting distracted by random things, and losing yourself for hours at a time.
There are also some beasties to battle from the looks of the Steam page, which shows some awesome bow and arrow shots landing on spider-like critters.
This is definitely one to keep an eye on if you’re after an RPG later this year. The release date is a tentative November and it will release into early access on Steam.
