Well, The Elder Scrolls VI may not be hitting store shelves any time soon, but at least Bethesda has some more official Elder Scrolls content to tide us over until then… whenever “then” is.
As revealed in an official trailer last night, The Elder Scrolls Online is set to come back in a big way this June with the release of its latest expansion: 'Seasons of the Worm Cult'.
The new expansion is set to follow up on the story of ESO’s base game, and it’s being divided into two parts. 'Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1' is launching on all platforms on 18 June, and 'Part 2' is dropping sometime in Q4 (according to the official ESO blog).

According to The Elder Scrolls Online’s game director, Rich Lambert, the decision to reintroduce the base game’s original foes stemmed from player feedback.
“For this year, we knew we wanted a story that celebrated 10 years of the game being live,” Lambert revealed in an interview on the PlayStation Blog.

“We’ve always been interested in doing a sequel to the original launch game and figured this was the perfect opportunity. As we started in on the process, one piece of player feedback kept coming up—players wanted something different. So, we took that to heart this year.”
Don’t worry if you’ve always wanted to give ESO a go but felt put off by the sheer volume of its additional content, because Bethesda announced a new “Premium Edition” of the game that includes all of the previously released chapters.
The Premium Edition of The Elder Scrolls Online also comes packaged with some extra goodies, like unique pets and emotes, and a pre-order of both parts of the 'Seasons of the Worm Cult' update.
Here’s hoping the second The Elder Scrolls VI trailer comes out before you manage to beat the hundreds of hours of content that ESO contains.
