Developer Techland continues to provide great post-launch content for Dying Light 2. Well over a year after the game’s release, there’s still an abundance of new content to be enjoyed.
I still remember vividly the day that it was announced that Dying Light 2 would take 500 hours to complete, sending the internet into a frenzy. In truth, it takes around 100 hours to see the majority of the game although given the vast number of updates and expansions, that may not be so true anymore. Back in February, Techland celebrated the game’s one year anniversary by releasing a bunch of cosmetic DLC alongside a major quality of life update. Just last week, the ‘Good Night Good Luck’ update dropped, which intends to intensify the game’s horror elements. Next up on the roadmap, it’s been revealed that the game will crossover with The Walking Dead.
Take a look at Dying Light 2 in action below.
As reported by ComicBook, Techland has announced a brand new crossover event with The Walking Dead. It sounds as if it’ll be an expansion based on the fact that players will “survive, scavenge, and slay the undead like never before.” A poster was also revealed showing a grave marker for Alberto. The poster is inspired by the comic art of Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. Otherwise, details remain very thin on the ground.

It appears as if we’ll have to wait a little bit longer to find out exactly what the crossover will consist of and when it’ll be released. I have to admit though, I’m already pretty hyped about this one as a The Walking Dead fan. These two franchises compliment each other perfectly.
Speaking of The Walking Dead, Maggie and Negan spin-off The Walking Dead: Dead City is finally now underway, although not if you’re in the UK. It’s reportedly coming to Disney Plus but when, we do not know. That’ll be followed by Daryl Dixon, which has been filming in France, followed by Rick & Michonne - which yes, has been confirmed to be the real title. A tad lazy but I look forward to it nonetheless.
