Filming is underway on Avengers: Doomsday, with the film’s recent five-hour cast reveal leaving us with more questions than answers.
Fair to say, many of us expected to see Deadpool and Wolverine included in the Doomsday line-up given the immense success of Deadpool & Wolverine.
Of course, it’s very possible that Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are slated to appear in the film and Marvel simply wants to keep that fact under wraps

I’ll admit, it’s weird that so many other X-Men are due to feature in the upcoming flick when Wolverine, at the present time, is not.
While we’ll have to remain patient on that front, I can tell you that over in the world of Marvel Comics, the two aforementioned characters are set to appear in a brand new series.
Wolverines & Deadpools will see Wade Wilson and Logan team up with their daughters, Ellie and Laura.
Thunderbolts* is set to release in cinemas next month.
Written by Cody Ziglar and with art by Roge Antonio, Wolverines & Deadpools will see the two titular characters joined by Laura Kinney and Ellie Camacho as they face off against a well-known X-Men villain.

As for who that villain is? Well, we don’t yet know.
It is, however, known that Wolverines & Deadpools will run for three issues, with the first set to land on 2 July.
“What’s better than THE BEST THERE IS partnered up with the MERC WITH THE MOUTH? How about adding daughters Ellie Camacho and Laura Kinney to the mission as they go up against a classic X-VILLAIN? Wolverines & Deadpools, baby!” reads the synopsis of Issue #1.
“The past 15 issues I’ve spent writing Wade and Ellie have been a dream come true,” Ziglar shared, via ComicBook.

“Getting to finish out their journey with two of the coolest mutants is just a cherry on top—I can’t explain just how much I look forward to exploring the father-daughter dynamics with these four!”
Only a few more months and we’ll all be able to dive in.
